In April 2021, Gustavo J. Muler Schteinaman installed a station in Nazaret (Lanzarote) for the Meteor Network of the University of Málaga and the Málaga Astronomical Society. Gustavo, an Argentine nationalized Spanish citizen, has discovered over 70 asteroids, some named after Lanzarote or César Manrique. He also confirmed the famous comet 17P Holmes and leads the "Astronomy Lanzarote" project.

He also confirmed the famous comet 17P Holmes and collaborates with other astronomers on various projects.

In addition to his research, Gustavo leads the "Astronomy Lanzarote" project, which combines astronomy with astrotourism. This initiative organizes star parties and stargazing events, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the night sky through powerful telescopes in a comfortable and secure setting.
