Observatorio Nazaret
Sobre "Observatorio Nazaret"
In April 2021, Gustavo J. Muler Schteinaman installed a new meteor detection station in Nazaret, Lanzarote, as part of the Meteor Network of the University of Málaga and the Málaga Astronomical Society. An avid astronomer and scientific communicator, Gustavo has discovered over 70 asteroids, some named after Lanzarote and the artist César Manrique. He also confirmed the famous comet 17P Holmes and collaborates with other astronomers on various projects.
In addition to his research, Gustavo leads the "Astronomy Lanzarote" project, which combines astronomy with astrotourism. This initiative organizes star parties and stargazing events, offering visitors the opportunity to explore the night sky through powerful telescopes in a comfortable and secure setting. At his observatory, MPC J47, he provides private stargazing sessions where groups can observe planets, deep sky objects, and constellations, making for a unique and unforgettable experience.
